LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) is a safety process established nearly 50 years ago and largely unchanged since. When digitizing it, prioritizing user requirements was crucial. This ensured the new user flow successfully transitioned to digital and addressed existing pain points.

I conducted user interviews and designed questionnaires to study LOTO protocols across various industries. Additionally, I designed and refined the digitized user flow and UI, which were integrated into the Facility Expert app.

Using the Kano model, we categorised user requirements into Must-Have, One-Dimensional, and Attractive. I even went through the entire process myself to ensure a thorough understanding.
